ive got my own template ive had made.i thought it would be simple bring it up and type in it.but no it wont let me ,can someone help me so i can use it please.ive tried everything.ive got microsoft word 2007 student and im using vista basic.what i did was scan in a bussiness letter head that i would use in my bussiness i then stored it in,word templates.but when i bring it up to use ,i cannot write on it,all i get is those little arrows that allow you to expand or collapse the page.try as i might thats all i can do,it wont allow me to write and use the template.i keep clicking on the page to write my letters but it wont.

Save your letterhead as an image - .jpg for example - crop just the part you want as the letterhead at the top of your blank pages, save it again as .jpg, then insert it into a blank document and save that as your blank letterhead template. The image will be there (of the letterhead) and the rest of the document will be blank for you to write on as you wish. Just be sure that if you save any documents after writing on the blank template - you save them with their own name and leave the blank letterhead template blank.
