I have saved a template as a template but when I want to use the template for a new document, the saved template does not appear when I want to start a new document. The only way to use it is to open the template as a document and then save it under another name.
What am I doing wrong? |

If you save as a template to the default location, then to use it you do the following:

OK, Bird.
I find some wonderful Word templates and want to add to my computer. But I don't where I can put these templates in. Can your tell me the details so when I create a document I can use my own templates following the guide you provide above? Thanks very much! |

To use the templates as per my instructions above (which are for 2007), then download the template, open it, then save as... Template and then they will be in the correct place!
