Based on your description, your PST file is not corrupt and you just need to create a new Outlook profile to fix the issue.
Make sure to backup your PST file first. Then you can make a test by copy the PST file to another computer with working Outlook, then use that Outlook to open the PST file. If there are no error messages, then your PST file is OK.
