Default Outlook and Spam

Hello,

I receive a lot of spam. Everytime I get a message (spam) I have to open it so Outllook envelope disapears from my bar.

All spam comes from a specific folder from my webmail and it goes to a spefic folder of my Outlook (spam folder).
Any one knows if there is a way not to synchronize this folder ?

Im using Outlook 2016.

Thanks in advance.

It might be you can set the folder to Autoarchive and delete on a frequent basis which is what I do.

FYI: As of last week I am not receiving any spam at all. Nothing is showing up on the WEB mail site or in my app to process. It is just gone as if someone threw a switch. Is it just me or did MS do something?
