I’m using Outlook 2016. I would like to add a column for Email Account to my view (along with From, Subject, Size, Received Date, Category). The problem I’m having is my email account names are long and take up way too much space on the screen. Is it possible to get it to display just a number or a color instead of the entire email account name?
Thanks. Peter |

Hi Peter,
You could use a combination of Categories and Rules to produce this effect. Essentially you could create a category for each of your Email accounts, then use Rules to assign each incoming email to the correct category. Let me know if you'd like me to send through specific instructions on how to do this. I would have to double check it works the same in Outlook 2007, but certainly is possible in newer versions. |
