The 16th record is always selected by Word on my recipient list when I open 'edit recipient list'.
My original 'recipient list' was not alphabetized, and the 16th record was skipped. I alphabetized it to test the theory -- making a different record be #16 -- and the record that had been 16th was included in the merge output, but the new #16 was skipped. And selected by Word when I open 'edit recipient list'. If I de-select the entire recipient list, and check only the 16th record, it merges just fine. I have checked the number and placement of each instance of the 'next record' rule, and there's nothing amiss. In fact, I improved my merge document. Which had no effect on the problem whatsoever. Any ideas out there about the specialness of #16? |
