I once had a nifty workbook (made by a student).

It had 5 tabs. 4 tabs were the same A column = date, B= units with a drop down for which kind (kWh gallons etc) C= cost $ all that fed a perfectly formatted chart in that tab. Those 4 tabs fed into #5 with linked absolute values (totals) where a lovely table and pie chart resulted along with my dollars per square foot.


I know how to do all that, but want to automat. I saved a template but my column A defaulted to text and the links didn't work.
She was a master, I need to study something but can't view videos at work > a mega-secure server.

Default drop down tabs

I wanted drop down tabs like I had before and to save it as a template
