Every time I insert a new chart, there is this ugly gray border around it.
How do I permanently make sure this goes away? I realize I can manually get rid of it, but clicking Auto-Default doesn't work. Help! |

Hi tisadelah,
Try switching off Word's image compression before saving the document (you need access to the 'Picture tools' tab to do this); Word's image compression has a habit of leaving such artifacts around the edges of inserted images. Alternatively, try pasting the chart in a different format (via Paste Special).
