Two months ago when printing a Word doc, the color printed as dark gray. I don't change the font color often, and when I do it's to dark red. I can't imagine what I might have clicked on to make this happen. It was black since I got the printer 5 months ago and this happened suddenly.
I've gone through everything I can find related to color, made sure it's Black or Auto, but it keeps printing dark gray. The printer was thoroughly checked out with HP and it's working fine and cartridges cleaned. I use a Mac, OS 10.5.8, using Word from around 2000 or so. Don't want to have to buy a new Word program! The rest of Word is pretty well to my satisfaction. Black print cartridge is at high level of ink, and other programs print in black. Any suggestions? Last edited by JudyM; 05-07-2010 at 09:29 PM. |
