Hi,
I currently have Word 2002, and I am using the greeting card feature, where you basically fold a 8.5 by 11.5 piece of paper in half and create a greeting card. And you wind up with is a card that has four sides, two inside and two outside. So I went into page setup and selected landscape and 2 pages per sheet. And everything worked fine until I tried to create borders. I wanted a border on three of the pages and one page without a border, but no matter what I tried Word placed a border on all four pages. Even when I selected "this section only" it stilled place a border on all four pages. Does anyone know what the problem is? Also, which function keys do you press to show the path of your document? Thanks! cinque8 |

Hi, Cinque. Without trying to recreate your problem from scratch, I suggest two possibilities.
1. When you say you set "this section only," do you mean that you put the page with the different borders in its own section (Section break/next page), and selected "This section only" in the "Apply to" box in the Layout dialogue? If not, your problem may lie there. 2. It may be that setting two-up overrides your separate borders. I'm not familiar with the greeting card "feature" you mentioned, so it's not clear whether you set two up for print, or in your Word layout. Best, Ulodesk |
