![]() I am creating a form in Word but want one section in the middle of the form to be a drag and drop activity. I have created an unprotected section in the middle of the form for the activity, but the select tool does not appear to enable boxes to be dragged, unless I unprotect the whole form. (I have copied the drag and drop activity to a normal document and it works there) Can anybody help? ![]() |

Hi debsed,
That's one of the limitations of using a document with forms protection. Since you're using Word 2010, though, you could use content controls and mark them as non-deletable. You could also put any content that shouldn't be edited into a non-editable & non-deletable content control. These non-editable & non-deletable properties are available for all content controls and don't require the document to be protected. This should allow you to use the drag & drop functions.
