I downloaded a font from dafont (WellrockSlab) that includes the base font and a bold font. I installed both of the font files. In Word 2007, if I highlight a word and click Bold, it makes the word bold, but not my using the bold font. Instead, Word is doing it's own bolding of the regular font. The issue comes when I save as to pdf. All the bold is gone - it is all just the plain font.
Is there a way to get the Save As PDF to transfer the bold of the words in bold? Or is there a way for me to ensure that Word picks the bold font over creating its own version of bold on the regular font? Is there an issue with the font? Do they need to be related somehow? |

From your description, my guess is that the font is damaged. You could try reinstalling it, but you may not find it worth the effort.
