I add a lot of autotext in MSoffice2002 and there are certain names in there it will not prompt me to add it. I can't understand why????

For AutoComplete suggestions to work properly, you must type sufficiently many characters for Word to identify the AutoText entry. So if you have multiple entries with similar names, that might explain the issue.

Just a short note that the AutoComplete feature for AutoText was removed completely in Word 2007. It was partially restored in Word 2010 (works for AutoText entries stored in the Normal.dotm template only). It was completely restored (works with AutoText in attached template or global template as well) in Word 2013.
