Thank you Paul. That wasn't exactly what I'm looking for!!!! the academic style that we are required to follow is: ----------------------------------- Chapter One Heading 1 1.1 Heading 2 1.1.1 Heading 3 ------------------------------------ the one that you have sent doesn't exactly mach this!!! Heading 2 should be of the format: 1.1 but not 1 this is why i have been asking to have it the built in library of Word. sounds that this style can't be customized! How can i have EXACTLY that style of headings? regards Jamal |
