Hi ihmemies,
Applying a Paragraph Style (such as Normal) to a range with character formatting that is not part of the range's underlying Paragraph Style's formatting doesn't necessarily change the formatting of the 'non-standard' characters. However, if you cut the range and paste it back into a given Style as unformatted text, everything will come through as the new Style's format.
