Dear friends,
I am facing a problem in Styles formatting, especially in Numbering of Heading 2 and Heading 3. Let me first show what is my final requirement... 1. This is heading 1 Style 1.1 This is heading 2 Style 1.2 This is heading 2 Style 1.3 This is heading 2 Style 1.3.1 This is heading 3 Style 1.3.2 This is heading 3 Style 1.4 This is heading 2 Style 2. This is heading 1 Style 2.1 This is heading 2 Style 2.2 This is heading 2 Style 2.3 This is heading 2 Style 2.3.1 This is heading 3 Style 2.3.2 This is heading 3 Style 2.4 This is heading 2 Style Above is the final form I am looking for. The problem occurs in numbering of 2.1,2.2,2.3,2.4 for heading 2 styles which became 1.5,1.6,1.7.1.8 respectively. For 2.3.1,2.3.2 for heading 3 styles which became 1.3.3,1.3.4 respectively. I have somewhat overcome this by creating a new number format for time being. but this lacks the automatic updation when the heading 1 style is changed (For example 2 is changed to 3, then their respective heading 2 and heading 3 are not changing) Thanks in advance. |
