Hi Andrew,
It's probably easiest to set up the structure you want if you: • configure every Section with 'different first page' and 'different odd & even' layout. • unlink only Section 2's headers and footers (3 of each) from Section 1's headers and footers. To unlink all 3, you'll need to have at least (temporarily) 3 pages in Section 2. • make sure all subsequent Sections headers and footers have the 'same as previous' setting (3 of each per Section). • insert the 3 page headers for Section 2. • insert the page # field in the first page footer of Section 2 and format it to start from 1. • insert a page # field in each of the other page footers of Section 2. • check that the first page footer of Section 3 doesn't re-start numbering at 1; if it does, format it to 'continue from previous Section'. See attached document for how it should end up.
