Problems Tabbing in Document

I was doing work in a document, and did four pages no problem, tabbing words, pictures, etc. On the most recent page however, when I hit tab, it goes through the alignment menu and shoots to the bottom of the document. I did not change any settings or anything, so I might have just hit something by accident. I have made sure I was clicking on the document, space bar works to move things over, but I need everything to be aligned.
