I am using Word 2010.
When I open word the document opens but the header and footer areas are missing. I can go to headers and when I click on it the header opens. I can save it and reopen later and the area is there. It is just when I open a new document. On the lefthand ruler it shows 9 inches and the cursor is at the very top of the visible page. Previously the documents would open correctly, that is I would see the lefthand ruler would show a nonprint area at the top and the bottom. How do I correct this so a new document opens showing all printable area? |

Hi, Dawson. If I understand you correctly, you seem to be opening either in Web Layout view or with the "white space between pages" removed. Go into Word option in your Normal template and set it up the way you want.
Does that solve the problem? Cheers, Ulo |
