Hi everyone,
I have one question: I've installed many new fonts and now, along with those which there were since the beginning, there are hundreds of them. My question is: how can I hide some fonts so that they don't show up when i choose the font in word? And if it is impossible, can I make Word pick fonts from the folder that I choose instead of the default "fonts" folder? If this is impossible too, how can i simply delete them? (I will not miss them. I mean, how many times have you used the font "Gulim"? Or perhaps "Kozuka Mincho Pro"? xD) If i choose a font from the "fonts" folder and i press "Delete" it says I can't do it, even if I have an administrator account. P.S: I have Windows Vista and Office 2007. |

Hi Jazz,
You can't either hide particular fonts or tell Word to use a different fonts folder. To uninstall the unwanted fonts, simply go to the Windows Control Panel and use the Fonts applet. Be careful not to uninstall any Windows System fonts; otherwise, you'll have all sorts of strange problems.
