I am Hoping someone can assist me in restoring access to the Custom Dictionary (Custom.dic) feature. I inadvertently deleted my custom.dic and now cannot seem to get it back despite the fact that it is found on my system as:
C:\Users\[ME]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\UProof custom.dic C:\Users\[ME]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Office\16.0\adb5bcf0\Pr oofing roamingcustom.dic When I attempt to add it via Options>Proofing>Custom Dictionaries all available buttons are greyed out and not active (See Screen Shot). Also when doing spell check no option to "add to Dictionary" is available. I have tried a Repair which was unsuccessful and also a complete Office online re-install which has also failed to fix the issue. If I sign-on as another user (wife) the feature is fully available and functional. Any assistance would be appreciated as I am out of options at present. |
