Is it possible to make keyboard shortcuts for
1. autocorrect options "button" and 2. format painter "button" I have tried MANY ways to either put each of these two items into a macro or keyboard shortcut with no success. I have succeeded in putting them on the Quick Access Toolbar, but it still means taking my hands off the keyboard to access either of these two. I would be happy with either a macro or a key customization. I would even consider a chip implanted in my neck ![]() . If, for some arcane reason, it's impossible, just tell me already and put me out of my misery ![]() Thanks for all the help on other issues and in advance for help on this one. |

Format Painter:
Copy Format: Ctrl+Shift+C Paste Format: Ctrl+Shift+V or, you can create your own. Assigning Keyboard Shortcuts in Microsoft Word 2007-2024 (365) AutoCorrect Options: I know of no keyboard shortcut or command available to let you assign your own. It can be added to the QAT, though. Once there, you can use the Alt key to get a keyboard shortcut to show. Modifying the Quick Access Toolbar (QAT) in Microsoft Word |

If you want a shortcut to access the AutoCorrect tab of the AutoCorrect dialog box, assign a shortcut to the ToolsAutoCorrect command.

Thanks to both of you guys (CK and SB); I'll get back on how your solution(s) worked for me.
Thanks again. |
