I am struggling to print an Office 365 Word Document to Pdf with the final changed (added and deleted text) in the document and the track changes vertical bar in the margin indicating where changes are.
When I try to print I get the grey box on the RHS of the document with all the added/deleted text which I do not want. If I de-select "Print Markup" in the print options it removes the grey box, but also turns off the verical track change line in the margin. I would like to remove the grey box and retain the vertical track change lines. I have followed the following suggestions from users with no success. In the Review Tab, Track Changes, Set advanced Options for insertions to "none" and deletions to "hidden". Set Markup to "Simple Markup" Set Show Markup to "Insertions and Deletions" Can anyone provide any assistance? Thanks in anticipation. |

I have resolved this with the assistance of our office guru. The above settings I have used are correct, but there was a comment in the document (on the last page!) that was keeping the grey block there. I deleted the comment and all is good - prints the final version of the document with just the revision bars in the margin.
