I have a document with a long page (48cm) and a dark background color, that I would like to print/export to pdf. The problem is that the background color and in fact the entire document is cut off at around the length of an A4 page. I've tried using a different printer and print settings, adjusting margins, finding a solution in the page setup, but was not successful.

I am attaching both the problematic file and a screenshot of Word's print preview for the document.

Use SaveAs instead of printing.

That unfortunately doesn't change anything, the resulting pdf looks identical, whether I print, click the "PDF or XPS" button, or choose "Save as..." and select pdf as the output file format.

Interesting. I have now also tried at home, with the same result. Then I changed the printer to Adobe Acrobat and printed to pdf and this time it worked (this solution had not worked in the office, though).
