Hello, I have Windows 11 and the latest Word.
I have written a book and am trying to number the pages without numbering the blank ones. I followed videos on YouTube and, no matter what I do, the blank pages keep getting numbered. I've removed the blanks, re-inserted them and it just renumbers everything including the blanks. I've clicked on the 'blank page' function to insert one. I've created a separate Word document and inserted with the same result. I've experimented with the 'link to previous' and 'same as previous'. I've put in Section Breaks beforehand and they either get ignored or, if they work, when I try numbering the pages afterwards the numbers then go back to include the blank pages. Can anyone help? |
