When I copy files from an internet web page into Word I often get a degree sign ( ° ) (or Alt+0176) when I look at the Word file. The sign mostly occurs just ahead of a paragraph mark but it can also appear many times elsewhere in the document.
I've searched the options found under "Edit > Find" and have tried copying the degree sign and searching for it, and I have looked at the Special and the Format options but have not been successful in finding out how to search for it. Can somebody please help me out here?
