See Classic Spell Check Dialog - Macro or Add-In to use classic dialog rather than Editor.
If the Microsoft site is down, here is the equivalent on my website: Spell Check Dialog Instead of Editor

Thanks. I don't know if I can do that, to be honest, seems rather complicated. There's no easier way to dump the Editor and get the earlier Spell Check back, eh?
