Can anyone tell me how to make line spacing consistent? These six lines all come up as single spaced when I check in the “paragraph” tab — and yet the first three lines are closer than the second three. I have tried clearing formatting, no luck. I have also tried highlighting everything and applying one line spacing, but they still appear inconsistent. Thank you.
Because I oft, in dark abstracted guise Seem most alone in greatest company, With dearth of words, or answers quite awry, To them that would make speech of speech arise They deem, and of that doom the rumour flies, That poison foul of bubbling pride doth lie |
