Whether hyperlinks or Not, it appears Word will NOT allow one to insert the same footnote (endnote) at a second or greater location, and have the footnote / endnote
be interactive by providing a popup textual narrative. Even just the insertion of
another footnote / endnote with a previously used number, while doable as text and setting the Font as superscript, seems, IMHO, the long way around the block.
