When inserting EndNotes, sometimes one wishes to reference a previous existing Endnote. This can be done by Inserting a Cross-Reference to the EndNote. HOWEVER: 1) that cross-reference (i.e. second + reference to the EndNote) is NOT interactive (i.e does NOT bring up the EndNote text when Cursoring Over that EndNote Number). AND 2) the cross-reference number is originally displayed as normal text NOT EndNote text (i.e superscript Font) and hence the cross-reference number has to be manually edited to show it as a superscript font). Is there a workaround ? |
