Yes this was indeed the problem. Word is amtureing, but soooo slowly.
I wonder if I will live to see in-line footnotes. i.e.: 1. fdkfjdfjdlj 2. dfjkljfkdlsjfksl 3. jvkcxjkljvkl and NOT 1. jdhfjdkhdjk 2. fhjfhdjfhdk 3. hfdjhfjdkhf In any case, thank you for the help!! Susan
