Exactly. But I have a program set up to open pdfs and it opened with another program for the same thing.
This has never happened to me before and it puzzled me. I don't know if the failure comes from Word or from the OS. That was the reason for the query but now I repeat the test on another Word file and it worked fine. However I would like to know what this behavior could be due to and is it something rare or has it happened to more users. Regards |

I'm not sure if you should blame the operating system or individual applications.
To me, it seems as if we (as users) are given less control over which is the default program for a certain action. :-(
