Page Number Not Showing Print Preview in Word 97

First attempt at FIELDS.

1) Bottom Margin is Set at 1 Inch.
2) Make Footer Visible
3) Tabbed over to Far Right in Footer
(Footer does Not seem to allow a Mouse Click so Text can be Placed Anywhere in Footer).
4) To Insert Field did: Clicked the Far Right Footer Area > Ctrl + F9, Typed PAGE between brackets.
5) To Update Field in Footer did: Clicked in Footer > Ctrl + A > F9
6) Closed Header/Footer Toolbar
7) Print Preview to see if Page appeared, NOTHING??
