OK I think we all assumed you were referring to the blue shape on page 2 rather than the text between the shapes i.e. (15) and XXX.

To change the colour/font of these texts, apply a paragraph style to the text then you can modify the font. See attached.

You started the thread speaking about shapes and text boxes, so nobody paid attention to the text "(15)" in the main body of the document. That piece of text appears to be formatted with Text Effects. To clear it, select the text and press Ctrl+SpaceBar which runs the ResetChar built-in command.

If you want to modify the Text Effects, click Text Effects in the Font dialog box (Ctrl+D). Make the desired changes.

You are clearly taking the piss now. I have sent a word document with a large RED arrow. See if you can find it (Assuming your not colour blind)

This arrow points to text that is TOTALY OUTSIDE any text box or shape.

If you can find the text (15) see if you can change it to RED BOLD

Why is this text affect. I simply typed standered text onto a standard word document. I never changed this into any affect.

Why can I not type anythinhg I like onto a word document as I have done for rears and years. I never asked word to change box standard text into something fancy.

Here AGAIN I am adding plain text. attached. Why has microsoft word decided that any text I type has to be turned into some fancy effect. This never happened before when I opened a blank word document ant typed.

What is CTRL + Space bar normaly. THAT MEANS without the shortcut?

I went back to the original I sent and YES ctrl+space bar reveals it, but if I go to text affect, text outline has 3 radio buttons. Nothing is selected and can not be selected.

My only crime was to add text between 2 text boxes. How was I to know that Microsoft had other plans for the text I typed.
