Default HELP do I have a virus - MS Office not working

All of a sudden when i open word, or powerpoint, or anything in my office 2007 suite, it will freeze after a couple of seconds of it being open and comes up with a message "microsoft word (or whatever app it is) has stopped working" then it follows up with "windows will try to find the problem..." but it never finds a problem and just shuts down (or keeps frozen).

HELP I really need these apps to work. Do I have a virus? There are no other problems with my comp and I am protected by McAfee.

I tried to restart, shut down computer. No help.
See picture that I attached for what I see.

Happens everytime too. I can't get more than 2 seconds of work done when I open a document
