Hey, I'm using Office 365 and currently wanting to save a Word DOC file from Word 2003 into the newer DOCX file format in my current version of Word. I know I can do this in Word in Office 365 using "Save as" but it creates a new file with all the stats like editing time, revisions etc removed. Is there any way to save/convert the 2003 file into DOCX by retaining these?
I would just continue saving it in compatibility mode in Word, but for some reason, although any changes save OK, it seems to take forever to save and sort of hangs Word whilst doing so (title bar changes to "Not responding") and takes about 30sec-1min to save, even on a new i7. Any help would be appreciated ![]() |
