The Text Box is the object you should be using for each word but I would start by first inserting a Drawing Canvas and then adding Text Boxes inside that area.
Once you create the first Text Box, give it the attributes you want and then copy it and paste multiple times before editing the text inside each copy to change the words. Note that clicking inside the box allows you to edit the text but clicking on the border of the box shows a different selection indication and it lets you edit the box attributes (border, shading, shadow etc) and to copy the box.
