Default Readability Tool not checking the entire doc

After selecting the entire document, I run the spelling/grammar/readability index.

Specifically, the index result says it is only checking 71 words, altho the document is over 2800 words long. The problem developed overnight about 3 days ago and now I can't fix it.

I have cleared the Do not check spelling and grammar box in every single header and footer, along with the language options, but the resulting numbers provided are much too low.

I am continually receiving the "text marked do not check for spelling and grammar..." error message. I properly marked the Check spelling and grammar in the Word/Options selections also.

Does anyone have any further ideas?
