Thanks for your replies. However, what I want to do is manually to insert (between two existing paragraphs) just a page break without another paragraph mark attached to it. I could do this in Word 2010 by ticking the "Split apart page break and paragraph mark" setting, but I cannot find that setting in Word 2019, so I am wondering where/why it has gone or whether there is another way to do this.
