I greatly appreciate MS Word automatically adding hyperlinks, but recently somehow/when instead of a simple working hyperlink like:
ESPN: Serving sports fans. Anytime. Anywhere. ...it automatically generates: { HYPERLINK "http://espn.com"} I have played with the proofing --> autocorrect options --> AutoFormat settings to no avail. The longer generated hyperlinks make documents and footnotes a real slog to work through! How can I keep the automatic hyperlink function without the loooong text? Help! Sounds like your field codes are showing. What happens if you press Alt-F9 to toggle them?
