Default Automatically put a text string at the beginning of a paragraph

Let's say that I have a paragraph style for notes. Is it possible to configure the style so that when I apply the style, "NOTE:" is automatically put at the beginning of the paragraph?

In this usage, "Note:" would effectively be the same as a bullet, in that the text would never be edited.

Not exactly.
However, you can create the style you want and attach it to a MultiLevel numbering or bullet list and include NOTE instead of a number.
Attached is a template with such a style.

OK...I can work with that. I need to set up a few options--I'm setting up some templates for a government contractor and want to arrange it so that security levels are managed properly.

Thanks!
