Thanks. That takes care of the problem of creating an entry that includes that nasty "Scroll icon."

But can you help me with a Scroll Icon in an existing document. I originally created this unintentionally by typing "scr" and now I can't get rid of the icon. It appears as a footer on a particular page. There were also page numbers at the bottom of the page, and I was able to delete those by removing the footer. But Word does not recognize the scroll icon as a footer, even though it appears at the bottom of the page. I am not able to remove it. if you have a suggestion, please tell me. If you are willing for me to send you the file, so that you can try to remove the scroll icon, that would be great!

Thanks,
Daniel
