Greetings!
I am having an issue with footnotes. Originally some were going to the next page when I needed them to stay on the page they were referencing. I took the following steps that I found online to remedy the problem: Press Ctrl+Shift+S to Apply Styles. Footnote Text. Click Modify. Click Format. Select Paragraph. Under Line and Page Breaks tab. Check box by Keep lines together. Except now I am left with these rather large spaces in between the remaining text and the footnotes below. I have attached the document draft BEFORE I applied the above steps. As you can see the footnote on page two is running into page 3. Once the above steps are applied this problem becomes solved but I am left with the spaces. The reason this is an issue is because I am in school and my professor is crazy about the number of pages total in a document. If anyone has seen this before and has a solution I would love to hear it. I have hunted around for some time and can't seem to find anything to resolve it. Thank you, |
