Default Date display in Mod quick part header

Hello,

I am very much a novice with regards to Office applications.

Having used the search function without success, I am turning to the good people on these forums to help me.

With a colleague at work, I am putting together a manual of our procedures and we have chosen the Mod header from the quick part building blocks. However when we select a date to be displayed in the header, the day and month appear in the even pages and the year in the odd pages when the document is loaded. The date format that we would like to use is DD/MM/YY and this is displayed correctly when first input but after saving and loading reverts to the split display.

Any assistance that you can give will be gratefully appreciated.

John
