Try clicking File > Recent > Click ‘Recover Unsaved Documents’ or File > Info > Manage Versions > ‘Recover Unsaved Documents’.


In the opening Window, see if there is anything in the ASD list which you recognise and hopefully help you out.

Thank you, Moonshine. I had already tried to do that, without hopes, since unfortunately I did save the overwritten document. There is nothing I can do, but writing my chapter again and learning to be more cautious in future. Thank you for your support
