i have created a booklet containing religious matter. the first 6 pages contain pictures. from page 7 to 54, texts. i want to number the page 7 as 1 and incremental to each page. when i type page 1, all the pages show the same page number.
please guide me as to how can i automatically or manually insert the page number from page 7.' thanks msnarayanan |

This is in continuation of the thread. Auto page numbering works fine if it is a single document, I copied the page numbered document to another document. When done I find page 1 has been changed to 8. That is the previous document now has 7 pages. How to retain the page number as 1. Thanks L msnarayanan |

Use the Page Number Format dialog box to change the starting page number, or set it to "Continue from previous section," whichever option suits your new document.
