The standard style for endnotes is in latin numerals (i, ii,..)
I change the style to arabic numerals (1,2,..) I works ok but when I put a new endnote reverts back to arabic |

When you change the endnote reference format, you are give the choice as to whether new format applies to all endnotes, or just the ones selected when you make the change.
