backup the doc and then:
Find and replace all ParagraphMark ParagraphMark with something that would never occur naturally in the doc like "zzzz". Now replace all ParagraphMark with ParagraphMark ParagraphMark. Now replace all "zzzz" with ParagraphMark ParagraphMark.
