Yes, the Organizer is a powerful tool. But,
  1. Import/Export styles using the Organizer is exactly the same from Word 2007 on and only slightly different in earlier versions.
  2. Desmond is concerned with which styles appear in style lists. In addition to having his styles available, he wants other styles either gone or hidden. The procedure you are giving does nothing with that.
  3. Desmond is working with a template. While you can import from a template, the simple method, which I am confident he is using, is to create a new document based on the template. That document will have exactly the style setup from the template. Templates in Microsoft Word
  4. How to attach a screenshot or file in this forum.

Why not simply add your other styles to the Quick Styles Gallery?

I really need the separate drop down list as the ribbon would be to wide for the different styles. What I can't understand is if the styles are in use on the title page (hidden by making then white on a white background), why are they not in the drop down seperate list.

Using that list (called the Styles Pane), go to Manage Styles

Is your style marked to "Hide" when it should be marked "Show?"

Rather that show styles in use, show styles in the document and mark the other ones to be hidden.

That way, you do not need the white text which can cause you problems.

Sorry you guys have totally missed the point. In the document I attached there are styles that I have created.

Does anyone know what the option [In use] as opposed to [In current document]? I believe not.

Let me explain. If you have styles that you have added and you select [In use] you will not see them in the list until you ACTUALLY USE THEM.

I have used them. They are in the title page of the script. They are made white to make them invisible.

If I use any of my styles [DIALOGUE], [CHARACTER] then they will appear in the [IN USE] list.

Why do you not understand the problem and tell me how to import styles that are already their.
