Hello. This is very unusual.
Captions are fields that include a SEQ field.
Try selecting all three captions and pressing F9 to update the fields.

If you press Alt+F9 you can see what these fields look like. It should look something like this.

What are you seeing?
Remember to toggle the view of the field codes back.
